How to download and install Dynacom application’s latest update

Important notice

If you install the new release without being a registered user, you will no longer be able to use your software.

This new release of Dynacom Accounting is available exclusively to registered users of the Dynacom Preferential Service support program. As such, Dynacom cannot, under any circumstances, be held responsible for software malfunction or loss of data following the installation of this version if you are not a registered user of its Preferential Service support program.

In addition, if you have add-ons or customizations installed within Dynacom Accounting, it is advised that you install the new version in a test environment first to make sure that your customizations and add-ons still work properly. Even though Dynacom has taken every step necessary to ensure maximum compatibility, this is the only way to be certain that your specific installation will work perfectly.

1. Back up your data

  • Before installing the update, be certain to back up all your data using the Dynacom backup utility.
  • Should the backup fail, please refer to our Dynacom Backup Procedure or contact our technical support service.

2. Disable your antivirus

  • Some antivirus can interfere with the installation of your Dynacom update. We strongly recommend deactivating your antivirus for the duration of the installation to avoid any problem.

4. Update your Dynacom databases

  • Open your company database in Dynacom Accounting. When prompted, update your database.
    Warning! Since this process can take a long time to complete, it is not recommended that you do your update during work hours, because your data will not be accessible while the update is under way.

5. Check which tax tables are active

  • Under the Help menu, choose the “About tax tables” option. The displayed date in this window should be from 2003-07-01 to 2017-07-01.

6. Proceed with your daily activities

  • You can now start using the new version of Dynacom Accounting with your updated company data.
