Laval (Canada) October 15, 2012 – Dynacom Technologies, a recognized leader providing accounting and management software solutions, has proudly supported the Alzheimer Society of Lanaudière by participating in the 4th edition of its special dinner event, which took place in Joliette on September 26, 2012.

The evening, placed under the sign of humor, was a great success and helped raise more than $42 000, a sum which will go directly to support research but also to support thousands of residents from the Lanaudière region currently suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. Dynacom’s contribution consisted of a direct donation but also of buying at auction comedian Mario Jean who seated at the Dynacom table during the first course of the special dinner event.

For the first time, the MS Society of Canada, Quebec Division organises an event for motorcycle enthusiasts! Experienced or novice motorcyclists will unite to raise money to help cure multiple sclerosis.

The “Tournée de l’eSPoir” event will be held on June 11, 2011 and will welcome 150 motorcyclists, divided into groups of 10 motorcyclists, who will travel about 425km, from Repentigny to La Tuque to Saint-Roch de Mékinac and then towards Trois-Rivières.

Participants will be supported throughout the event and even escorted by municipal policemen and two motorcycle police officers from the Sûreté du Québec. Snacks and drinks will be provided at the supply stop as well as a full meal at lunch break. It’s up to you to join in on the fun, music and entertainment!

October 08, 2010. Dynacom plans to discontinue the Dynacom Accounting Platinum Edition.

Laval (Canada) October 8, 2010 – Dynacom Technologies, a leader in business software solutions, announces that it will no longer sell the Platinum Edition of its flagship software, Dynacom Accounting, as of June 2011. From this decision comes the desire to better meet the needs and demands of our clients.

“There has been very low customer demand for this product and for competitive reasons the product will no longer remain viable in our portfolio. May 03, 2010. Dynacom recently signed a new agreement with DAI.

Laval, Quebec – May 3, 2010 – Dynacom recently signed a new agreement with DAI, a company specializing in International Development. This agreement covers DAI’s support needs for the customized solution developed for them in 2008-2009. This solution allows them to manage all local project development, using Dynacom’s SQL Edition. As a result of the complexity of this application developed for DAI, this support includes hours dedicated for the development of new applications, as well as funds allowances for travels to their offices in Bethesda, Maryland or for any project that may take place somewhere in the world (i.e. Afghanistan, Jordan, etc.).

This agreement confirms Dynacom’s competency in terms of custom development, thanks to its development platform called “Synergy”. Dynacom has invested heavily in the last few years in a technology allowing it to fine tune the base product in order to answer 100% of the customers’ needs. Following this first success achieved, in partnership with DAI, another major project is currently under way: The possibility of synchronizing multiple databases. Indeed, it will now be possible to manage multiple sites and to share the same data throughout multiple transactions. This new function will create global snapshots of all DAI projects. However, for another customer this could mean better management of the sales force on the road or better sales control throughout a retail chain.

This agreement with DAI is renewable every year and represents one of our best success stories in terms of personalization and integration of a business process throughout a single product.

January 20, 2010. Dynacom discontinues Dynacom Accounting version 10.

Laval (Canada) January 20, 2010 – Dynacom Technologies, a leader in business software solutions, announced today that in accordance with to its obsolescence policy, which states that the release of a new software version generally announces the decline of the previous version, has decided to put an end to all forms of technical support and software updates for the version 10 of Dynacom Accounting.

Discontinued services for version 10 will be effective as of December 31, 2010. Moreover, the last payroll update for version 10 will be provided on June 30, 2010.

Dynacom bases its decision on the fact that periodically its business strategies are reviewed in order to meet the ongoing needs of its customers and partners, but also because Dynacom cannot support indefinitely any other version other than the current version of its flagship software, Dynacom Accounting.
